Regional Policy Studies, In The Development Of The Russian Economy

As a typical transition, vast and muti-regional country, Russia is faced with the problem of unbalanced regional economic development and the problem is very serious and representatively. Among them, the gap between the eastern and western regions is most obvious, and it has become a major obstacle restricting the regional economic development and reunification process of Russia. In order to solve regional problems, Russia has developed and implemented a series regional policy which has different objectives and content in different periods. With the adjustment of regional policy, we need to research the changes of the gap between Russia's eastern and western regions use the new data. The article analyzes the status and trends of regional economic imbalance in Russia, and then demonstrates the effect and the future direction of the regional policy combined with the background of regional policy. In addition, this article explores the mechanism of the regional policy, which can identify the effectiveness of the regional policy on the unbalanced regional economic development objectively and correctly. The research will contribute to further improvement of the regional policy and the fundamental solution of regional problems.
