Currently,4S store is the main car sale business model in China which Integrate car sales, spare parts, service and survey. However, there are some disadvantages in this business model has much room to improve.Based on theories from operations management, strategic management and economics, this paper has conducted an in-depth analysis of car sales model in Kunming academically supported by chain management theory, Porter's5-force model, and scale economy. The paper proposes a number of strategies and suggestions aiming to upgrade the current car sales business in Kunming, among them are business model redesign, market segmentation, market analysis supply chain improvement, inventory optimization, cost reduction, information system introduction, staff training, quality control and so on.An empirical analysis about Chrysler car selling store is displayed in order to test these strategies proposed in the paper and to see how well these strategies fit to the car selling business model in Kunming.
