Researches On Eetertaining Appliances Design In Kitchen

The kitchen space is a very important part of family life. About half of the housework is completed in kitchen. Kitchen is a high-frequent- used place. The modern kitchen not only affects the families'material standard of life, but also enhances and enriches their spirit grade. As a part of kitchen, kitchen appliances play an important role.This paper mainly concern about the kitchen space of Chinese middle-class citizens, and is focused on studying the kitchen appliances of modern families. With the social progress and the enhancement of life quality, people demand more and need higher life standard. Based on the people's demand, through the methods of user research, market survey, field research, photographs and user interview, we find users'new demands---entertainment demand. Anglicizing new demands and discovering design concept point and combining with kitchen appliances. I will apply the emotional design method to make the entertainment correspond with human emotion, to design a system of guidelines about how to improve kitchen appliances from three levels of visceral, behavior, and reflective. This system will be significant to the companies'design research.
