Study On Enhancing The Agility Of Kitchen Electronic Appliances Supply Chain

As the diversification of customer need and the uncertainty of purchasing behavior have become increasingly prominent in the market environment, competition among companies becomes more intense. Agile supply chain has been an effective choice for companies to respond quickly to customer need and improve the level of market competition. Kitchen appliances are kinds of products with wide varieties. Meanwhile, each type is equipped with different sizes and specifications to meet the individual needs of consumers. Manufacturers have to hold the inventory in high level in order to improve customer availability and supply and demand mismatch seriously. Product-based supply chain design strategy guides us to build the kitchen appliances agile supply chain to respond to the dual uncertainty of supply and demand.According to the market research, consumers tend to buy and order the kitchen appliances in advance without instant delivery from the perspective of pursuing the integrity of the interior space layout. Therefore, consumers’buying habits in advance create certain customer lead time for the kitchen appliances manufacturers. This also lays the foundation for the establishment of the kitchen appliances agile supply chain.This paper analyses the current situation of the kitchen appliances supply chain, points out the problems in respect of partnership, production pattern, logistics method and information system, and identifies the key factors affecting the operation. This paper puts forward improvement solution concerning purchasing system, production process, logistics and sales system for the agility of the kitchen appliances supply chain:to establish a promotion model within the purchasing system, divide the purchasing process adopting the method of process analysis, exert pressure on the pre-order links from the sequent part and push forward step by step so as to compress the purchasing response time and increase the agility of the purchasing system;this paper specifically analyze agile relationship management of purchasing and supply from the aspect of suppliers evaluation and the establishment of cooperation relationship, information sharing mechanism and incentive mechanism;based on the customer lead time, this paper strives to improve production pattern through postponement strategy to quickly respond to customers orders and increase customer value by the CODP positioning model;considering the current logistics mode of home appliances and their own characteristics of kitchen appliances, this paper puts forward kitchen appliances supply chain should adopt logistics outsourcing and the delivery method of " factory+distribution center to door" to avoid the inbound and outbound processes so as to enhance the agility of the supply chain.
