With the mergers and reorganization of our nation’s coal enterprise, and the implementof coal resources integration police, Excavated region in coal mine becomes one of thepotential hidden danger of water inrush of the most sereve problems faced by state-ownedand large-scale coal mine realizing mining safely, the water inrush of old and small coal mineoccupies eighty-eight percent of water accidents in “The Eleventh Five-year Project”. So theapplication research of integrated exploration methods of excavated region in coal mine has asignificant meaning.In this paper, the author consulted the domestic and international relative literature dataof geophysical prospecting method in the excavated region in coal mine detection in manyyears, surveyed the traits of coal seam excavated in coal mine and the characteristics of smallcoals mining room and pillar, pointed out the technical ideas of integrated geophysicalexploration methods detecting excavated region in coal mine. Baced on this, firstly, theauthor simulated the seismic wave field of excavated region in coal mine with COAL MINE3D EARTHQUAKE WAVE NUMERICAL SIMULATION SOFTWARE andTESSERAL-2D NUMERICAL SIMULATION SOFTWARE, obtained the features ofseismic wave meeting excavated region in coal mine, there will be a toruloid wave shape justbelow the excavated region in coal mine in the model, and we finished the numericalsimulation of TEM, from which we got that it is the low resistance unusual if it containswater and the high resistance unusual if it contains nothing; and then, the author conductedthe case study of2-D Seismic,3-D Seismic, High-density Electrical Prospecting and TEM,from which we consider that the expression of excavated region in coal mine in the seismicprofile is the deletion of lineups, the expression of electromagnetic prospecting is the lowresistance unusual if it contains water and the high resistance unusual if it contains nothing; at last, with the help of drilling on the earth’s surface, we made the testing of the interpretationof integrated geophysical exploration methods, and got a better confirmation.In this paper, the study results show that each geophysical exploration method ofdetecting excavated region in coal mine has its owen using conditions, for example,3-DSeismic fits the detecting of deep area of excavated region in coal mine and has a highdistinguishability,2-D Seismic can make sure the boundary of excavated region in coal mine,High-density Electrical Prospecting has a high distinguishability to the detecting of excavatedregion in coal mine of shallow, TEM has an accurate detecting to the excavated region in coalmine containing water. But,3-D Seismic can’t detect excavated region in coal mineaccurately when it contains something or not or what it contains,2-D Seismic will reduce itsdetecting accuracy because the actual frequency can’t get the hight of numerical simulation,High-density Electrical Prospecting gets a worse effect when the detecting depth is depper,TEM can’t detect excavated region in coal mine accurately when it dose not contain water. Sofor working out the detection problems of excavated region in coal mine well, we should setup an idea of integrated geophysical exploration methods, and to different geologicalproblems we must mix with different geophysical exploration method neatly. This paper alsoproves that the integrated geophysical exploration methods of excavated region in coal minewell is feasible and effective.
