The Study Of Prioritizing Protection On The Key Protrcted Wild Plants In Shanxi Province

Current, protecting biodiversity is the consensus of all mankind, the key issues for great successful and efficient biodiversity conservation are identify biodiversity conservation priorities, it also provide effective ways and tools to optimize the biodiversity protection strategy. The research object of this study constitute by "The national key protection wild plants list (first)" and "The wild plants in Shanxi Province". Based on the literature material and data collection, distribution database. Using protect planning software C-PLAN calculation sites irreplaceable value. The irreplaceable index determined the preferred reserves of wild plants. Put the first protection area and the existing nature reserve on GAP analysis. The results were as follows:(1)There are57species of protected wild plants, belonging to38families and45genera. All species were divided into three protection level, among them2species are listed as national I,6species are listed as national II,49species are provincial level.(2) System analysis the plant of Shanxi. Shanxi province flora characteristics not only have the transition feature, but also have a long history.(3) According to the IUCN of grade and standard of Shanxi Province wild plant for endangered rating,the results:6for CR,27for EN,21for VU,3for lack of data.(4) On the basis of the distribution database referring to specimen records and published literatures, characteristics of geographic distribution of protected plants were analyes. Study on the protection of wild plants in our province concentration distribution in four county, YangCheng, YuanQu, Xiaxian and QinShui,a total of42representative species of the total species73.68%.In planning unit scales distribution pattern we found species is mainly distributed on the border of the city and county.(5)Apply system planning software C-PLAN calculation planning unit irreplaceable index, index>0.6will be as the protection of biodiversity conservation priority area. We get13conservation priority areas totally.(6) By comparing the priority protection in our province with existing nature reserve network use GAP analysis, we aidentify5place protection vacancy. GAP1, nearby the cangtou river; GAP2, around the liuleng mountain nature reserve in datong; GAP3, located in border on Changzhi、 Linfen and Jinzhong;GAP4,contains the vacancy of Sushui river,calendar mountain,Yan mountain and river python four nature reserve;GAP5,located in RenZuShan nature reserve peripheral; GAP6, Yuncheng wetlands.
