Three-dimensional GIS is one of the hot spots and forefront of GIS science at home and abroad. Except powerful spatial analysis functions of two-dimensional GIS, it also has the functions of visualization expression. Combination and integration of two and three-dimensional can effectively overcome the abstract multi-ambiguity of the two-dimensional map and direction disorientations of three-dimensional virtual scene.Firstly, taking campus for example, this paper comprehensively applied elevation data, GPS elevation measurement data and campus building footprint data, extracted ground contour lines of buildings as linear constrained conditions, and then built DEM with constrained TIN(Triangulated Irregular Network). Secondly, it established building models with SketchUp using large scale aerial images as ground texture, it seamlessly integrated terrain models and building models in SkylineGlobe V6.0software platform. Finally, using API interface provided by this platform, it completed and released a system of Web-based on3D GIS of campus, which included functions as two and three-dimensional navigation, spatial objects queries, spatial assessment and shadow analysis, it also demonstrated potential applications of this method. This paper detailed models of the complex terrain and geometric construction, and proposed a technology route of visualization driven by three-dimensional scene.
