Research On The Three-dimensional Visualization Technology Based On SketchUp And ArcGIS

Three-dimensional GIS is improving in theoretical and technological as one of the solutions in Digital Earth. Compared with two-dimensional GIS, three-dimensional GIS has a good capabilities on three-dimensional mass, multi-source, heterogeneous data integration capabilities and intuitive visualization performance.This thesis proposes a object-oriented data structure. This structure can reconstruct Three-dimensional building in regular. Comparison of several three-dimensional GIS model of modeling, the model base on the characteristics of SketchUp under the ArcGIS. A three-dimensional system is constructed by SketchUp model combine with ArcGlobe. Base on theory and real data of Beijing City, this thesis choose C#.NET as the opening platform and ArcGIS Engine as software development kit, to build a three-dimensional system. The three-dimensional system has some functions such as three-dimensional roaming, intergrater query, functional analysis, etc.
