Ocean covers70%area of the Earth with rich energy resources and mineralresources. In recent years, Research on the Marine environment get more and moreattention. Ocean monitoring is the basis of understanding the study of marinedevelopment and utilization of the ocean. The means of marine monitoring includeauto-monitoring station、buoy system、seabed-based measuring system、HF groundwave radar controlling system on sea surface environment、current technology ofacoustic correlation and so on.In marine monitoring, Marine environment is the Material basis of Humanunderstanding of the sea, using of marine resources and protecting the marineEnvironment. So data buoy plays an important part of marine monitoring.Nowdays the commonly used data buoy abroad is wave Knight of Netherlands andCanada AXYS series of buoys and domestic is SBF series made by Shandongacademy of sciences Marine instrument research institute and SZF made by oceanuniversity of China.The paper based on this project:3meter SZF multi-function wave buoy whichis the cooperation Research of the Ocean University of China and the China East SeaBranch of State Oceanic Administration. This paper not only focuses on the Databuoy receiving System, but also studies processing wave data.Data buoy system consists of two parts: communication system and hostcomputer. There are four normal wave data communication system: GSM, ultrashort,satellite and wireless network. Our system uses various communication ways: one isBeidou The other is CDMA wireless network Communication. The host computersoftware based on VS2005.It achieve real-time data display storage and data curveshow.Because the data buoy itself use U disk to storage raw data, We need toconvert it in order to correctly read the data. In this thesis We simply talk dataconversion and analysis of wave surface displacement sequence.The data receiving program is now running for six months. By a large numberof laboratory experiments and field trials at sea, The3meter SZF multifunctionalwave buoy data acquisition, processing and transmission system of the indicators havereached the design requirements, the data processing results are true and reliable.
