This specification is set for the theses of Chengdu University of Technology. Thestudy area, belonged to the Anglonggangri-Bangor-Tengchong magmatic arc belt, islocated in the contact zone between Bangong-Nujiang collision junction zone in northand Shiquanhe-Namco-Lhari collision junction zone in south. The stratum belongs toBiru-Lhorong stratigraphic division, with wide distribution of Jurassic-Cretaceousstrata. Minerals are mainly occurred along the north side of Namco-Lhari fault with EWtrending, and there are good geological conditions for mineralization, thus there is ahuge potential for silver mine prospecting. After studying, the following progresseshave been achieved:1. The typical deposits of Youkalang-type Pb-Zn-Ag deposit have been studied.Through systematically studying geological background of mineralization, geologicalcharacteristics of mining area and ore-bodies, features of wall-rocks, as well asalteration of wall-rocks, the ore-forming period and mineralization stages have beendivided, and this mineral deposit is classed into the low-temperature hydrothermaldeposit.2. The ore-controlling factors of Youkalang mineral deposit have beensummarized. In this mining area, the ore-bodies occurred within the fault fracturezone of gray and gray-black clastic rocks in first member (J2-3l1) of middle-upperJurassic Lagongtang Formation. The main ore-controlling structures are Namco-Lharifault zone and its secondary fault (NE trending) fracture zone. The mainore-controlling strata is the fine-grained clastic rocks interbedded with carbonaterocks in the first member (J2-3l1) of middle-upper Jurassic Lagongtang Formation. The ore-controlling rock-mass is the late Yanshanian intermediate-acid intrusive rocks-granodiorite (γδK1).3. The mineralization factors of this mineral deposit have been extracted, theore-forming patter has been built, the forecasting elements for this mineral deposithave been extracted, and the prediction model has been established. At the same time, the regional ore-forming elements of the study area have been extracted, the regionalore-forming patter has been built, the regional forecasting elements have beenextracted, and the regional prediction model has been established. Based onestablishing the prediction model, all kinds of prediction parameters of the study areahave been determined, the minimum prediction area has been delineated andoptimized, the forecasting elements have been fabricated and selected, and theresources extent of silver ore has been estimated. Thus, the further work can becarried out in the6minimum prediction areas, such as Kupa Nongba, which areevaluated as Class A.
