As GIS Industry developing rapidly and the application range extensively, the basicproblem on vector map data is more exigent than ever before to be regarded. As everyindustry has their own destination, the vector map data also plays different roles. In theachieving process of the vector map data, the vector map data from the same range of regionwould be collected repeatedly by different categories of industries aiming at their own need. Itnot only results in abundant waste of laborer and source, but also produces the diversificationof the multi-source vector map data, which makes it difficult to sharing the data amongdiverse industries. The integration and fusion of multi-source vector map data will be one ofthe effective methods to solve this problem and implement integration and sharing of vectormap data. This paper points at the technical of the integration and fusion of multi-source vectormap data, and illustrate it with the sea chart data and land chart data. The main researchcontent of this paper includes following aspects:First of all, this paper analyses the research status of the integration and fusion of themulti-source vector map data, and give the content, method and general process of themulti-source vector map data based on the study of spatial data and the multi-source vectormap data.Second, the paper further studies the pretreatment process of the multi-source vector mapdata. On this basis, this paper designs the spatial data model, coordinate system, mapprojection, classification and gradation, and attributes encoding uniformly, and accomplishesthe data pretreatment of sea chart data and land chart data.Third, this paper researches the format conversion method of multi-source vector mapdata integration, and designs a new DAT vector map data format which can be read easieraiming at the united data model. A conversion from the format of sea chart data and land chartdata to DAT format is achieved, which carry out the integration of the multi-source vectormap data.At last, this paper studies the fusion of multi-source vector map data deeply, in otherwords, the homonymic entity matching and fusion. In the foundation of anylysis of existingentity adjusting complication algorism, aiming at the condition that the points of homonymicentity are failed to matched, this paper put forward a new shape correction entity adjustingcomplication algorism based on topological relations. This method achieves the fusion between the sea chart data and land chart data, and this papaer takes quality analysis of thefusion data.
