The Optimization Research Of Main Functional Area Zoning Based On GIS Technology

The main function zoning has become the hot issue and main concern of the state and government. In the planning decision-making system of China, the regional development strategy has always been an important part of the overall development strategy for all levels of government. Until now some scholars have been studying the provincial, municipal main functional zoning on the GIS platform. These studies are basically using the method of combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, take the administrative Region (SAR) as the smallest evaluation units, use the existing development density, resources and environment bearing capacity and the development potential, these three levels to divide the main functional areas. But only use administrative units as the evaluation unit has problems like the partition is not strict. This paper based on the studies of the previous researchers, analyzed the current spatial layout situation of the Liuxi area, referred to the main functional zoning evaluation criteria made by the country, established a reasonable scientific Liuxi new district main functional zoning index system. Then a spatial analysis of ecological sensitivity and spatial accessibility, and then through the classified discriminated matrix obtained the comprehensive evaluation of regional development. Use this evaluation to do the overlay analysis for the town unit main functional areas, finally divide the areas to four main functional areas, key development zone, optimize development zone, limitation development zone, and prohibited development zone for the purpose of optimization. To provide a reference for the Liuxi New district development, and to make development strategies for various development zones in accordance with the positioning of the main functional areas, to promote socio-economic development and ecological environment develop in a coordinated way.
