The study area, located in the east of the Xingmeng orogenic belt, has experienced complextectonic evolution process, with strong magmatic activities happened in Paleoasian,Mongolia-Okhotsk and Pacific tectonic domain in different evolutionary stages. This processprovided a really good geological condition for the formation of endogenous metal mineral deposit.Binnan Mine is located in the North-Central part of Duobaoshan-Heihe gold and polymetallicmetallogenic belt. Southwest and southeast are Duobaoshan and Sandaowanzi ore concentration area. The strong tectonic magmatic activity provides heat source and carrier for metallogenesis.Multi-period and inherited tectonic activities have provided an advantageous space for multipleenrichment and migration of ore-bearing hydrothermal solution. NW-trending structure providepassageway for the migration of metallogenic hydrothermal solution and is an importantore-transmitting structure. NE-trending fracture structure provide suitable space for the deposit andenrichment of metallogenic materials and control the spread and scale of ore bodies. Intersection partof the WN-and NE-trending structure control the distribution of the ore belt and ore body.Binnan Mine mainly consists of molybdenum ore deposit, and accompanied by weakly copper, lead and zinc mineralization. The type of ore deposits in this area is porphyry type. The ore bodies aremainly hosted in the Late Triassic-Early Jurassic calc-alkaline intermediate-acidic intrusive rocks. Thegranodiorite of Late Triassic-Early Jurassic possess cataclastic structure, making the rock porosityincrease, which are advantageous to the migration, metasomatism and deposit of ore-bearing hydrothermal solution in the later period. It was formed in a semi-closed and semi-open environment, and the liquid-solid time lag was similar. Magma was broken immediately following crystallization, and was metasomatised by upwelling of hydrothermal solutions to mineralize. The ore deposit totallydelimit15belt of molybdenum deposit. The ore bodies strike to North East, dip to NorthWest and dip25°-50°. Ore exists as xenomorphic-subhedral structure, fine-grained star bulk veinlet and veinletdisseminated structure. Ore minerals are mainly Molybdenite, and gangue minerals are composed ofquartz, K-feldspar, plagioclase, biotite and pyrite. The large-scale, high-intensity metallogenic element geochemical anomaly, and the large area ofK-feldspar and silicified alteration zone of Binnan mine area are an important symbol for findingporphyry-type deposits. In addition, the ore diposit occurred mainly in magnetic anomaly gradientbelt, which is also an important guidance.
