While the extra large reservoir is working, the changes in water level are significant.Reservoir area bank slope is easier have the deterioration effect due to a long-termimmersion and scouring effect of the reservoir water. In the financial aid fromChongqing city scientific and technological projects of the Land Bureau, this paperanalyzes the geological environment of reservoir bank slope and studies the mechanismof the degradation effect of Bank slope, and summarizes the geological disasters causedby degradation effect. On this basis, classify the geological disasters caused by thedeteriorating effect, and then using the project management theory to propose a projectmanagement strategy for preventing the deteriorating effect on Bank slope geologicalenvironment. In the end, making the project, Laojiaolin Landslide as an example todeepen the understanding on the project management of the reservoir geologicaldisasters. The main research content and results in this paper are:①On the basis of previous research work, understanding the Three Gorges ReservoirBank from characteristics of natural and geographical, geological background, slopestructure, groundwater type, reservoir operation of bank slope and so on, which is afoundation of analyzing the deterioration of geological environment. According to thecomposition of bank slopes, we classify the bank slope into three categories with firstlevel, including soil slope, bank slope of rock and rock mixed bank slope; and otherthirteen categories with second levels including loess-like soil bank slope, diluvial bankslope, and heaped bank slope; and other three categories with third levels includingdipping rocks dip slope, steeply inclined rock forward slope, transverse slope of layeredlimestone. Reservoir bank groundwater is classified by occurrence media includingbedrock fracture, loose pore and carst, and its secondary classification is summarized.②From the viewpoint of the geometrical characteristics of the rockmass itself, respectively researching the physical and chemical effect of the reservoir water in therising and descending stage and the deterioration mechanism influenced by the circle, summarizes the geological disasters led by rockmass deterioration effect and classifiesgeological disasters.③Engineering management methods are rarely used in preventing geologicaldisasters. The author reads a large amount of the related literature and systematicallysummarizes the system of engineering measures to prevent geological disasters led by bank slope deterioration effect.④Take the example of the construction of preventing Laojiaolin landslide, analyzingthe monitoring, construction and management of the project using the projectmanagement system from this paper is useful.
