The Materials Management And Tracking Of Small And Medium-sized Discrete Enterprises

In order to improve market response and reduce the company’s own production cycle, most enterprises have had their own ERP or MES to improve their management and production. While these systems calls for more exact real-time information of enterprises. If there were no these information, the management and control that ERP or MES provides are inaccurate and not timely.This paper searches on the materials management and tracking of small and medium-sized discrete enterprises by the collection of basic data and the management of real-time information of enterprises to develop materials data management system and materials data acquisition system. Materials data management system consists of two parts, materials management system and materials tracking system. Materials tracking system contains order tracking and WIP tracking. The search on order tracking is to manage the plans of enterprises and response the real-time information of plans. And the search on WIP tracking is to track the process production of enterprises. Materials data acquisition system is to achieve smart acquisition of real-time data of production to provide exact and quick data of production to materials management system. The management and tracking of materials provide the real-time data to enterprises to achieve the real-time, dynamic and detailed management of enterprises.The main work in this paper will be introduced in details as below.At first, this paper introduces the enterprises application of materials management and MES/ERP integrated system, and the basic principles of MES and ERP.This paper analyzes and designs the materials data information of materials management, and simply introduces the idea of batch management and the basic methods of material management.Then search on the order tracking and WIP tracking to realize the feedback of enterprises information of plans and production to monitor the process of enterprisesDesign and develop the acquisition system by the technology of RFID to realize the smart acquisition. And solve the problem of reusing RFID tags to reduce the enterprises’ costs. Thus perfect the smart process of materials management system.Program the materials data management system, acquisition system and the integration of these two systems.
