Research On Material Tracing And Tracking Management Technology For Offshore Engineering Equipment Project

Material management of offshore engineering equipment project is an importantfoundation of the offshore engineering equipment construction. It is difficult for offshoreengineering enterprises to improve their competitiveness further, because it is hard to realizetraceable material management. The mature material traceability management model, whichserves offshore engineering enterprises well, is the key technology to improve theconstruction quality of offshore engineering equipment, to reduce its cost, and to shorten itsconstruction period. Before studying the material traceability management model, if a codingsystem adapting the offshore engineering equipment material tracing and tracking process, theefficiency and practicality of the material traceability management can be enhanced. Atpresent, the mature offshore engineering equipment material traceability coding methods andthe traceability management model have not yet come into being. In this paper, we havestudied the key technology of material tracing and tracking information coding as well as thetraceability management of offshore engineering equipment project.Firstly, the meaning of basic tracing and tracking principles of information coding arestudied in this paper, and the characteristics of different key technologies for coding areanalyzed. Considering the features of material tracing and tracking information for offshoreengineering equipment project, the data acquisition technology is chosen, and the coding planof tracing and tracking information is designed. Secondly, based on the analysis of materialtraceability management for offshore engineering equipment project, a view is elaborated as“Batch management is the foundation of efficient traceability management”, and a materialtracing mode based on the idea of batch management is proposed. In order to solve theproblem of generating the tracing BOL (Bill of Lots) and the problem of batch changingduring the management process, a time-based algorithm for generating the tracing andtracking BOL and a traceability management method based on tree structure are proposedrespectively.At last, the modeling of offshore engineering equipment project material traceabilitymanagement system (OEMTS) for is established in this paper, and the operation environmentand development tools of the system are presented. After that, the prototype of (OEMTS) is implemented in an offshore enterprise, validating the effectiveness and practicality of thesystem.
