| Lecanora is classified into Lecanoraceae under Lecanorales, Ascomycetes, Ascomycota. The species of Lecanora are often on bark or rock with thalli varying from crustose tolobate;Apothecia usually with lecanorine margins which is the same color as the thallus, butsometimes with biatorine or rarely lecideine; spores colorless,1-celled,ellipsoid,8per ascus inmost species,up to32per ascus in a few. The genus Lecanora which is the largest genus inLecanoraceae is worldwide in distribution. Lecanora sensu stricto contains about600species.The studies of Lecanora from Southeast of China are performed, using the methods ofmorphology, anatomy and chemistry, on the basis of identification of more than500specimensfrom9provinces of Southeast of China which are now deposited in Shandong Normal University(SDNU).28species are reported in this paper, of which3species new to science and9species newto China. New to science: Lecanora moniliformis, Lecanora hubeiensis, Lecanorapseudojaponicaï¼› New to China: L. concilianda, L. fimbriatula, L. hypocrocea, L. meridionalis,L. megalocheila, L. neonashii, L. pacifica, L. sp.#2, L. stramineoalbida.16species have beenreported in China.Twenty secondary metabolites are examined by color reaction test (CT) and Thin-LayerChromatography (TLC).The morphological photoes of the thalli of all28taxa presented in this thesis, anatomicaland chemistry photo of some species are also provided. The keys of the genera Lecanora arepresented in the paper. A short comment for each species is made under the depictions. |
