Geological Characteristics And Prospecting Potential Of Wuyang Iron Ore, Wugang County, Henan Province

An important section of the Henan-Wuyang area of Henan iron mine ofWuyang iron mine, located at the national mining area is one of the set area,prospecting potential. The study area is "prospecting breakthrough strategy actionplan (2011-2020)" to determine the national19key metallogenic belt "Yuximetallogenic zone" Lushan Mountain-the new Cai iron mineralization, the first is theoutline of determining the preferred47national key integrated exploration area.The study area is located in Wugang City, Henan Province, is located in theeastern part of the North China block tectonics in the southern margin of the QinlingMountains orogenic belt, the layer is a North China stratigraphic region. Between thesouthern margin of the North China Craton located in Luanchuan-Sanmenxia-Lushan Mountain Minggang fault and fault, the platform type double-layer structurewith typical, basement rocks of Archean Taihua Group metamorphic granite-greenstone formation of deep, is "Anshan-Zhaoanzhuang type" metamorphosedsedimentary iron ore-bearing horizon; cover layer rock series are mainly Proterozoicto Paleozoic epimetamorphic-no modification of new detrital rocks and carbonaterocks in the construction and formation.The main formation Zhaoanzhuang ore deposit for the Archean ore-hosted strata,anticline and depression in part by the north wing of the Sinian, Paleogene stratadistribution. The blind ore bodies occur in Archean strata unit, has the deepmetamorphism and ultrabasic mineral assemblage, and the surrounding rock is arelationship with the production, is a volcano sedimentary metamorphic type irondeposit, Zhaoanzhuang iron. The Archean crust is active when the stage, the submarine volcano eruption activity is frequent, marine volcano-sedimentarystrongly developed, while the ultrabasic magma widely invasive. Ultrabasic magmaticrock intrusion rock mass bedding, magnetite in the middle and lower segregationmineralization; ore forming after the regional thermal metamorphism andmigmatization and dynamic metamorphism, transformation form migmatites, gneisses,advanced ultrabasic rock magmatic metamorphic deposit.The smooth development of Zhaoanzhuang iron ore metallogenic model isestablished in this paper for the area and the area of geological prospecting work toprovide guidance and theoretical basis.
