Research On Rural Integrated Information Database Construction In Chongqing Based On GIS

At present, the rural economic development of china is in a new phase of climbing period; vigorously promoting informatization in rural areas is the inevitable choice for overall planning the urban and rural economic and social development and the construction of modern rural areas. Database in the rural area is the bearing foundation of rural informatization, it also plays a crucial role in the development of rural informatization.Chongqing city as one of the first batch of pilot cities of geographical national situation investigation has made remarkable achievements in the urbanization construction, including "Chongqing public service platform" for data exchange and public services,"Chongqing traffic police&constable force platform" for traffic information, and "Chongqing urban management system" for digital city. It shows that Chongqing city has theoretical basis and data security in integrated rural information database construction, which lay solid foundation for the implement of the village data reporting system and rural database management system.This paper analyzes current research status of the construction of rural information database from the perspective of rural information and database construction, systematically introduces the role of the GIS technology in the database construction and system construction. On this basis, we define the study contents and technology roadmap of Chongqing rural integrated information database. Combined with the demand of village and township planning person, we introduce rural integrated information database from the aspects of data contents, data structure and data storage approach, and develop rural data reporting system and rural database management system which complement database. We also use Ajax and WebGIS technology to achieve data reporting system, C#language and ComGIS technology to achieve database management system, these technologies establish contacts through rural integrated information database, and they form a "collection-management-application" software system. Finally, this paper explains the mechanism of backuping, restoring and updating of rural integrated information database.The database system has been used in geographic information center of Chongqing, it effectively implements the management and maintenance of rural data of Chongqing city, provides data support for rural planning, through data exchanging it also can form extensive application between the various departments.
