Incineration Plant Case Studies Of Environmental Impact Assessment Methods

In this paper, three technologies which are widely used for waste treatment are presented. Incineration, landfill and composting are mainly described. We present the applications situation of these three technologies in China and abroad and compared the three processes. According to the comparation, we focus on the analises of the the waste incineration process.In order to analysis the method of EIA, we refer to the Guidelines for Environmental Impact Assessment Atmospheric Environment of 2008,and emphasize some EIA questions.This paper discusses the EIA working methods and technology of waste incineration projects ---take a large garbage items in Tianjin for example. It focuses on the analysis of the ammount of pollutants, atmospheric impact assessment, solid waste and leachate treatment measures and discuss some questions of waste incineration projects in environmental impact assessment.The methods of pollutant estimation, atmospheric environmental impact assessment and solid waste disposal presented in this paper are the summary of my EIA work experience. We believe that this paper will be helpful to starters on the EIA of waste incineration project, and it will also provide the environmental management of such projects with a reference and provide us with new ideas and inspiration for future evaluation of this kind of work.
