Abstract/Summary:
The problem of "garbage siege" is a big dilemma that big cities is facing in China nowadays.The improper disposal of garbage will cause waste of resources and destruction of the development.At present,landfill is the main way of garbage disposal in China.However,landfills not only occupy land resources,but also have certain limitations on garbage collection.Once the limitations are exceeded,new landfills will need to be rebuilt,resulting in a lot of costs.At the same time,degradation of landfills will bring greenhouse gas emissions.Waste incineration power generation can solve the problem of greenhouse gas emissions caused by improper disposal of garbage.It has economic and social benefits and it also meets the requirements of energy saving and emission reduction in China and the development plan of comprehensive utilization and recycling of resources in the 13 th Five-Year Plan.Therefore,the topic of this paper has important research value.Based on the improved Upstream-Operation-Downstream(UOD)table method,this paper calculates the greenhouse gas emission reduction of waste incineration power generation,and then uses grey prediction method,scenario analysis method and improved UOD table method to calculate the greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of waste incineration power generation,and analyzes its influencing factors,which has certain theoretical and practical significance for solving the waste disposal and environmental problems brought about by it in China.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper summarizes the research on garbage disposal technology and greenhouse gas emission reduction;secondly,it summarizes the process of garbage incineration power generation and elaborates the relevant theory of garbage incineration power generation;thirdly,it compares and analyses the applicability of the methods for calculating the greenhouse gas emission reduction and emission reduction potential of garbage incineration power generation,and finally chooses the improved UOD table method and The method and scenario analysis method are used to calculate and elaborate the calculation process.Finally,taking Beijing as an example,the calculation results and influencing factors are studied,and conclusions are drawn and policy recommendations are put forward.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)It is feasible to achieve the goal of greenhouse gas emission reduction through waste incineration and power generation technology,and there may be many factors affecting the potential of emission reduction,such as garbage disposal capacity,garbage water content,power generation efficiency and waste disposal methods from garbage incineration.(2)Grey forecasting model and scenario analysis method are combined to forecast the future garbage production and the greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of garbage incineration power generation,which paves the way for the calculation of the greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of garbage incineration power generation.The improved UOD tabular method combines CDM methodology and overcomes the limitations of CDM methodology in object selection.It makes up for the disadvantage of UOD table method that can not calculate greenhouse gas emissions clearly at all stages,and is more suitable for the study of greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of universal waste incineration power generation.(3)According to historical data,the calculation of greenhouse gas emission reduction of waste incineration power generation in Beijing shows that the greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of waste incineration power generation has a certain potential;scenario analysis based on forecast data shows that with the policy intervention and the continuous improvement of technical equipment,the greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of waste incineration power generation is gradually decreasing;with the passage of time,it decreases.The growth rate of emission potential is slowing down.In the analysis of influencing factors,it is found that the garbage disposal capacity,the installed capacity of biomass energy,the moisture content of domestic garbage and the average line loss of power generation have a positive effect on the greenhouse gas emission reduction potential of garbage incineration power generation,and the quality of fossil fuels consumed by power generation has a negative effect on the emission reduction potential.The main innovations of this paper are as follows:(1)The potential of energy saving and emission reduction in long-term waste incineration was assessed based on waste emission prediction.Based on previous studies,this paper predicts the greenhouse gas emission reduction of waste incineration power generation,which is conducive to assessing the development trend of greenhouse gas emission reduction potential brought by waste disposal technology in the future,so as to achieve energy saving and emission reduction.(2)The measurement method of greenhouse gas emission reduction for waste incineration power generation was improved.Based on the previous studies,this paper uses the improved UOD table method and CDM methodology to measure the greenhouse gas emission reduction brought by waste incineration power generation technology.
