Due to the special section and shape steel’s section complexity, making differenttemperature changing in various parts of the process of heating - cooling. Differentcooling rates of the cooling process will produce different organizational performanceand residual stress. This also increases the difficulties of the special section and shapesteel heat treatment. Therefore, the study of its heating-cooling heat transfer regularityhas important theoretical and practical significance. The computer simulation of heattreatment is indispensably important research means for the present heat treatmentprocess research and technological design. Because the heating and cooling processinfluence factor is multitudinous, the boundary condition is complex, always is the weaklink which the computer simulation of heat treatment. The heating and cooling processcomputer simulation of special section and shape steel has a very important significancefor the work piece performance improving, the reduction of distorts and cracks, thequality controlling and guaranteeing.This paper studied and has designed the cylinder shape austenite stainless steelprobe head, and has carried on the air cooling, water cooling, oil cooling and heating andso on five kind of operating mode temperature curve actual using the multi-purposecontrollable heat treatment test installation. Carried on the solution to the surface heattransfer coefficient according to the counter-heat transfer law and the non-linear estimatelaw, Consequently,the problem is solved that the influence factors are complicated andthe surface heat transfer coefficient is difficult to figure out. The heating - coolingprocess is a complex coupling highly non-linear problem. This paper had considered fullythe quenching test sample transient state question, changes the latent heat question,changes the hot natural parametric problem. The FEM model ofheating-cooling processis built based on the FEM(Finite Element Method)software MSC.Marc. Taking portion ofnodes to study the temperature changes, while it has carried on the confirmation throughthe experiment to the model, proved the model is reliable.The special section and shape steel has many types. This numerical model to studies with analysis other special section and shape steel’s temperature field in the heating-cooling process and further analyzes the special section and shape steel harden leveldepth, forecast product microstructure performance, residual stress distribution and so onaspects has an important practice instruction significance. Also it has provided aneffective theory basis for the special section and shape steel heat treatment craftreasonable formulation. It will build the foundation for realizing the heating-coolingprocess intellectualization.
