In this paper, synthetic ionic liquid [AMIM]Cl, with the industrial grade rawmaterials, N-methyl imidazole and allylchloride. The ionic liquid [AMIM]Ac issynthesized by anion replacement reaction. Bacterial cellulose dissolved in ionicliquids single or complex, and the basic performance of the cellulose solution andregeneration of BC are studied. In order to reduce costs further, the recoveryprocess of the ionic liquid is also studied. It has a high practical value for thepromotion and application of bacterial cellulose, with the bacterial cellulosedissolved in ionic liquid.By the experimental study, obtained the following results, the best technologyfor industry-level synthesis of ionic liquid [AMIM]Cl: the reaction temperature is42℃, the molar ratio of N-methyl imidazole and allyl chaloride is1:1.5,mechanical stirring speed is500r/min, and the reaction time is10h. the besttechnology for industry-level synthesis of ionic liquid [AMIM]Ac: the reactiontemperature is70℃, the molar ratio of potassium acetate and [AMIM]Cl is1:1,mechanical stirring speed is300r/min, and the reaction time is2h.The ionic liquids [AMIM]Cl and [AMIM]Ac which synthetic by industrialgrade materials are the excellent solvent of the bacterial cellulose. Bacterialcellulose dissolution is directly derived dissolved.[AMIM]Cl/[AMIM]Ac complexionic liquids on the dissolution of the bacterial cellulose is also a direct derivativeof dissolved. And it has a faster dissolution rate than the single ionic liquiddissllved. The ability to dissolve BC has some improvement. The properties ofbacterial cellulose solution and regeneration of BC are as same as the singledissolved in BC.The ionic liquid recovered by potassium phosphate is feasible. The recoveryrate can reach more than90%. The structure and performance of recovered ionicliquid are consistent with the original ionic liquid. The recovered ionic liquidbacterial cellulose still has good solubility. The properties of bacterial cellulose solution and regeneration of BC are as same as the original ionic liquid dissolvedin BC.
