Rapid prototyping manufacturing technology plays an active role in promotingproduct innovation of enterprise and shortening the development cycle of new productand improving product competition. Because the technique has several characteristicsof agile manufacturing and high integration of manufacturing technology and suits foralmost work piece of any shape, it is widely used in mechanics, electronics, automobile,communications, aerospace and other fields.Rapid prototyping equipment is developed to sinter large Buddhas by making useof selective laser sintering technology in the subject. The overall structures of theequipment have been designed in the subject. In the first term, the design of themolding cylinder, framework, column, reducer and the powder funnel are partlydesigned, and the Vacuum powder machine is selected. Feeding powder warehouseand removable device have been design independently in the paper. In order to reducethe error, the positioning system and the accuracy are analyzed. As well as thepositioning system is designed.Based on layered three-dimensional model is used to slice3D CAD model in thesubject. A suitable layer thickness is selected and the layer algorithm has beenanalyzed to ensure that the sintering efficiency and molding accuracy.Through the analysis and calculation of the laser path, the function relation of thefocus coordinates and the galvanometer rotation angle is obtained, which provides atheoretical basis for seeking for high-efficiency scanning path.The RP machine has satisfied the design precision and has already been utilizedpractically.
