The continuously development strategy is the basic stratagem of our nation. Onthe background of the lack of energy reservation and dramatic consumption of energysources in the worldwide, energy saving will be the one of the basic principles whichevery development department should follow. As the main supporters treat wastewaterin the city, the large number of Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) consumed ahuge amount of energy resource. Therefore the energy saving research of the WWTPsis necessary.The article which mainly study the control strategy of energy saving of aerationsystem in WWTPs include three fields as follows:1、the experiments first set up aSBR system as the research object and study the change law of conventionalindicators in aerobic phase of system. Then put forward control strategy of aerationrate which adopt the DO and ORP as the control parameters;2、Study the change lawof ORP in a pilot continuous-flow activated sludge system and discuss the possibilitythat use ORP as the aeration control parameter;3、Research the intensification offillers effect KLa in Moving Bed Bio-film Reactor and provide the optimizedsuggestions about the adoption of the parameters.The results of experiments which adopt the DO and ORP as the controlparameters in SBR activated sludge system show that:(1).The change law of DO in running process is that it will enter into the lowplateau first and then rose rapidly and eventually stabilize at a high value. However,ORP will downward first and then increase rapidly until stability when the organicmatter in wastewater was depleted. pH in system will run upward first. With theprocess of nitrification, it will gradually come down.(2).To fit the change of DO and ORP in system with the correspond equationwhich have low order and high accuracy R2. The regression equation and the actualvalue have a fine goodness of fit. Finally, the real-time control strategy was made bychange of DO and MSC of ORP.The research of ORP change law in continuous-flow activated sludge systemshows that:(1).Due to the complexity of the water quality, DO and ORP do not have thedirect and inverse proportion in the continuous-flow activated sludge system. The ORP hardly be regarded as the aeration control parameter of system solely.(2).The temperature has little effect on ORP in the stable activated sludge systemand DO affected by temperature more obviously.The research of intensification of fillers effect KLa in Moving Bed Bio-filmReactor shows that:(1).In clean water test, the oxygen transfer efficiency ascends10.7%after dosingthe fillers into the system. With the increase of filling rate of fillers, the oxygentransfer efficiency will increase first and decrease later.(2).In mixed water test, when dosing clean fillers, the oxygen transfer efficiencywill increase first and decrease later with the increase of fillers filling rate; the oxygentransfer efficiency will reach maximum when filling rate is40%.
