At present, The CNC machine tools demand high precision, high efficient, intelligent,multiple,and un-polluted. Complex processing technology is an important area of CNCmachine tool. The CKM630turning-grinding complex machine we study is one kind ofcomplex machine tools,which is used to process sleeve,short axis, gears and other parts.And it can complete turning and grinding of the workpiece in one installing. The CNCmachine is a mechnical-electrohydraulic product with complex structure. Their structuralproperties,dynamic performance,processing performance requirements become morestrict. We expect to know the structure performance about the future product particularlythe key components structure’s performance in the early design, and optimize and improvethe product structure as required. In order to ensure design quality,reduce machinedevelopment cycle and multiple design-Test-improve process of machine, we take theCKM630turning-grinding complex machine key structural design and dynamiccharacteristics analysis for main studying line,to analyze and seek the best structuralparameters with CNC machine tool. And make the structure characteristics of the machinetool optimized at the design stage. The specific task of this article as followed:(1)On the basis of existing CNC lathes, combine characteristics of turning-grindingcomplex machine to determine the whole layout. At the same time analysis the difficultproblems in the design process;(2)Complete the key structural design including the machine bed, spindle box, themodeling of parts and the whole machine virtual assembly in three-dimensionalengineering software UGNX6.0;(3)Based on the traditional theoretical design, complete the machine transmissionsystem design and verification, and determine the model of ball screw, motor, bearings.Calculate the positioning accuracy error caused by the transmission system stiffness;(4)Use FEA software ANSYS-workbench complete modal analysis of keycomponents and the whole machine. Get their low-level natural frequencies and modeshapes, and identify the weak links of the machine structure. Through the improvement ofthe spindle box and bed structure, the structural rigidity has improved;(5)Through spinning, cutting, and physical processing experiments of prototype, wefind out the vibratory reasons and some low frequencies. We should make the naturalfrequency of the structure to avoid these low frequencies. By Testing the gear face andhole meet the accuracy requirements, which proved the machine meets the designrequirements.The research work strongly supports the development of CKM630turning-grindingcomplex machine, which performance and indicators have reached the preset design goal.
