Pipeline leak detection and positioning system which is an important part of pipeline transportation management system, has been playing a big role in safety production and leakage reduction. Aimed at the shortcomings of large power consumption, excessive space occupation of equipment cabinet and unreliable network communication, a new oil pipeline pressure leak detection and positioning system based on PC104 is designed.Remote monitoring terminal hardware platform using PC104 embedded system which is of low power consumption, small in size, and free expansion. AD acquisition module, GPS module and a 2.5 inch disk are selected for Remote monitoring terminal hardware platform. Therefore PC104 embedded hardware system is complete. Collection, time proofreading, communication, front interface display and data save program are multi-thread programmed for the remote monitoring terminal.TCP protocol of TCP/IP protocol is selected for communication between each monitoring terminal and the central PC. Four measures including time label, data packing and checking on the application layer, dynamic unpacking cycle and resuming interrupted transfer are designed to ensure the real-time, reliability, integrity of network communication. At the same time, multiuser TCP communication connection is designed for the communication between the central PC and a lot of monitoring terminals. The program can determine a connection of abnormal interrupt, and automatically close the TCP connection, thereby other normal TCP connection are not affected. The use of GPS time synchronization between each remote monitoring terminal and the central PC ensure the precision of leak detection and positioning system.A series of experimental tests show that the system which is low power consumption and small in size runs stably, and ensures the integrity, reliability and real-time of remote data transmission.
