Our country is rich with mineral resources, and is the world's largest coal producer. However, the personal casualty rate caused by the exploitation of coal resources is the highest. According to the investigation of mine accidents, the number of deaths and injureds due to explosions, fires and other incidents scene accounts for only a small fraction of the number of casualties, Quite a large miners in the mine can not escape form the high temperature , flooding and toxic gas field which can cause suffocation , drowning , poisoning or other second casualties after mine flooding, explosion or fire. Therefore, how to provide a better shelter for the trapped miners to reduce the second casualties caused by mine accidents, has become an urgent need to address the major issues. Mine mobile rescue capsule is just developed for this problem.But currently our country's research and use of mine mobile rescue capsule are relatively backward, detection and communication system is not perfect. For this situation, this paper designs a new type detection and communication system for mine mobile rescue capsule. It is an embedded system based on Samsung S3C6410 processor. This system designs a sampling circuit for gas concentrations, which concentrates a variety of gas sensors in a single circuit board and sends all the signals to the processor after unified regulation. This design is smaller footprint and lower power consumption than the existing single independent gas sensor, and realizes the automatic control of oxygen concentration to avoid the miners'misoperation under high pressure and ensure the life safety of miners. This system also realize the underground and aboveground audio and video communications, and data storage to facilitate future inquiries and provide reference for the rescue work. This system is smaller footprint and lower power consumption than current communication system and more functional.
