Research And Design On Interactive Brazing CAPP

The technology of brazing is taken more and more attention in the modern industrialmanufacturing field. But brazing production management for most domestic enterprisesstill stays in the paper management mode. There is one of important means to changethis pattern and improve the efficiency of brazing production, which is introducingComputer Aided Process Planning(CAPP). This paper researched and designed ainteractive brazing CAPP using Oracle based on Client/Server. Based on the actualapplication, the system designed some patterns for brazing process planning(BPP), andintegrates the management of brazing database(DB).Powerful human-computerinteractive capability is a feature of the system.The following are the main rearch contents:(1) The paper standardized the data from collected brazing demand, which containsthe experience, knowledge and parameters. Then brazing DB was established withOracle10g. In oder to improve the management efficiency of DB, six sub-DBs weredivided by the different nature of the data, which were material sub-DB, processknowledge sub-DB, process parameter sub-DB,process file sub-DB, joint parametersub-DB and user information sub-DB.(2)The functions required for the system were defined in the systematic analysisstage. Use case diagram and the activity diagram were established also in this stage. Anstep-based parametric BPP model was brought up. It makes the BPP coherent, but alsogives full play to advantages of parametric planning.(3)Package diagram of the object class, static class diagram and sequence diagramwere set up in systematic design stage.(4)The ADO dynamic link library repackaged was to suit the data operation ofOracle DB, and to meet all communication needs between DB and client system. Inaddition, all properties and methods of report and tab were encapsulated, in order toreduce the difficulty of brazing CAPP system.(5)A two-lvel search scheme to brazing DB was given. The fist level search was toretrieve tables. Then user can search records in the table which is the result of the lastsearch.(6)The graphics(BMP, JPG, DWG formats etc.) in the system can be upload,download or edit. The result of the BPP could output as process card that could be Word,PDF etc..
