According to the characteristics of Titanium alloy forging enterprises, the Titanium alloy forging process of the enterprise were analysed. Based on the principle of safety and practicality, using the object-oriented method, with the methods of plug-in development, the interactive CAPP system for the titanium alloy die forging process was studied and developed, which are based on the Oracle database and C/S architecture.The research work of this paper are as follows:(1) On the basis of full investigation and study of the enterprise, and the full communication with enterprise process design staff, the system requirement of Titanium alloy die forging CAPP system were analyzed. The system architecture was defined as the client / server model, and the overall structure of the client is analyzed.(2) Used were case model, static model and dynamic model of the design of the client application to make the development of program more organised and well structured.(3) Analyzed and finished were the various process parameters and charts in the production process of Titanium alloy die forging. The powerful Oracle database was selected as the data development platform, and the Titanium alloy die forging process database is established.(4) Combined with the actual production situaition of forging enterprise, the billet and the die forging process content were summarized and divided into six small steps to simplify. In the design of forging process, designer only select the appropriate content and can increase or decrease the number of forging, which is convenient for the use of process designer.(5) The process data query function was established to facilitate the query data of process designer;(6) The system was equipped with module management function, which could be integrated with different forging process CAPP system, expand the function of the forging system, and meet the different needs of the enterprise.(7) Floating design are used on the system menu bar, toolbar and craft design guide.The width of the board could be changed on the process design and the inquiry board,and the dock board can be hided or displayed according to the needs.
