Facing to the drastic global market competition and the rapid science andtechnology development, the technology and complexity of product development areincreasing. The traditional product design model fails to adapt the growing need of themarket anymore. The trends in the product design have been moving towardnetworking, globalization, expeditiousness and virtualization, specially. Cluster-based finite element analysis is becoming a hot area of policy analysis.This paper is based on computer cluster platform, with the aid of the cluster ofthe calculation of the huge force and network in collaborative design, on the NCmilling and boring machine pillar on the modal analysis. First analysis get pillarvibration data looking for law, ANSYS/APDL language to the machine tool columnmodeling process parameter programming, again in ANSYS on the optimization ofstiffened plate type design, thus in a relatively short time get more scheme analysisdata and column pillar of stiffened plate type selection the results.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:1. Use the network technique to build a high performance cluster theexperimental platform, deployment ANSYS11.0Linux parallel computing software.2. Analysis of domestic and international numerical control machine researchstatus and the finite element analysis method of the development process and functionadvantage, according to the finite element theory and ANSYS characteristics planningthought the problem solving.3. With numerical control machine tool pillar as the research object, the theoryand mesh machine pillar combining the actual working condition, select theappropriate grid mesh type.4. According to the actual working condition of the pillar of machine tool tostudy the boundary conditions for the realization of the load loading, then according to the number of the grid and characteristics choose appropriate solver, solve, to get theoriginal column the modal parameters.5. Use ANSYS/APDL language set up parametric analysis model machine pillar,realizing fast finite element model modification realization scheme contrast, search forlaw, and realize the pillar of stiffened plate and layout the best plan.
