Automatic powder products hydraulic press is a special pressure machine for thepre-molding of powder. It can produce special performance materials and parts thatmany other metallurgical equipment can not make.This technology is adapt massproduction of complex shaped parts, reducing the follow-up processing, greatly savingtime and reducing the cost. At the same time, because of its conform to conserveresources and the needs of sustainable development era, it has already got generalpromotion and application. At present, there are two major factors restricting thedevelopment of powder metallurgy industry, one is powder materials and the other ispowder metallurgy of special pressing equipment. In recent years, as the proportion ofthe high strength, high precision, complicated shape in the powder metallurgy parts isbecoming more and more big, and will gradually be dominant, these also put forwardhigher request for the powder metallurgy compressor’s performance and its suppressprecision. Along with the development of powder metallurgical technology and thedemand of the market, and as the proportion of multi-table-board complex parts inpowder metallurgy parts production is gradually increasing, based on the technicalrequirements proposed by Chongqing machinery factory, a fully automatic400-Tonpowder hydraulic press was designed in this paper.Powder forming hydraulic press are composed by three components which are thehydraulic system, control system and the formwork. Based on the analysis of thedomestic and foreign pressure machine and the technical requirements proposed byChongqing machinery factory, the paper made a minute analysis of the importantsuppressing factors of the fully automatic400-Ton powder hydraulic press machine.This paper put forward an integrate scheme of a multi-table-board powder hydraulic pressmachine, and designed a main parameter table of fully automatic400-Ton powderhydraulic press. Through the analysis and research on the production process, thecontrol system process and process analysis of the powder pressing machine were made.Based on the analysis of the hydraulic system, the paper selected the main componentsand made an analysis, and designed the electrical control hardware circuit and thesoftware of the pressure mechanical.Through the analysis of hydraulic system, the paper chouses PLC as the controllerof the control plan. Through the calculation of each sensor data, PLC controls all hydraulic valves, and realizes the control of the whole hydraulic system. In order tomake the system more automatic and precise, it also designed a weight sorting device ofthe billet. As sorting unqualified pressure in the billets of equipment, throughcalculation and analysis, PLC adjusts the blunt position when outfitting the powder die,and real-timely adjusts the powder amount to form a closed loop control, improvingsteel quality pressure and reducing scrap. In addition a the touch screen was designedfor convenient operation. Because of the use of modular programming ideas, thecontrol system is stable and reliable and easily operational.
