Recently with the rapid economy development, many cities in China includingChongqing are beginning to increase the scale of urbanization construction,the demandfor building materials is growing at the same time that the construction and real estatedevelopment swing, causing the construction waste mountains spreading at a high speed.Such an incredible amount of construction wastes, will not only have a threat onto thecity environment, but waste valuable resources seriously. At present, a commonunderstanding in the industry is that advancing the recycle utilization of constructionwaste is one of the basic ways to absolutely solve this problem.As the economic center of the upper Yangtze river region, Chongqing robusteconomic growth and speed up the city construction since it become China’s youngest,and the only municipality directly under the central government in the west, but now ithas begun to face the difficult problem that how to manage to construction wasteincreasingly. In order to ensure the early realization of goal which, including sustainableeconomic development and “five Chongqing” building, a positive solution to disposaland comprehensive utilization of construction waste is more and more important andkey.In order to put forward practical and effective measures about comprehensiveutilization of construction waste, this article firstly introduces the concepts and theoriesrelated to construction waste, and respectively explains the harms to urban environmentat five aspects; in view of the not explicit present situation of construction waste inChongqing, build the indicator system that affect annual yield of Chongqing’sconstruction waste and pick up three key indicator using the method t combine PCAwith questionnaires, and forecast annual yield of Chongqing city’s construction waste inthe next5years scientifically basing on GM(1,1) model; at last, in reference to themature theories and practice experiences from the developed countries, proposes somespecific countermeasures to construction waste disposal and comprehensive utilization,and modifies and adds The measures of city construction waste in Chongqing(the draftversion), to provide certain reference and help to construction waste disposal andcomprehensive utilization in Chongqing.
