In this paper, the winding process technology was studied by using in-situ consolidation combined with on-line solution impregnation for glass fiber reinforced PEK-C composite. The effects of winding speed, processing temperature and resin content on the interlaminar shear strength of NOL rings were investigated. The results showed that the winding components with high-performance characteristic were fabricated in the certain ranges of winding speed and processing temperature. The fracture surface of composite was observed by SEM,it was indicated that the resin and fibers were distributed evenly in the components and the interface between them was bonded intimately. The hygrothermal properties of composites were studied by immersing the standard NOL ring specimens into the 20℃and 70℃deionized water, respectively. The results revealed that the water absorption of composite was initially consistent with the Fick second law. The water diffusion rate in the composite increased with the increase of temperature. With the increase of soaking time, the interlaminar shear strength of composites decreased according to the exponent form. The higher the temperature, the more the mechanical property degraded. The photographs of fracture surfaces showed that there were many cracks and holes appeared on the surface of immersed composites. With the increase of immersing temperature and time, the interface between fiber and resin was damaged seriously.
