There are too many treatments for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW), and using the high heat value component of which to make the Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is a high efficiency energy saving way. RDF has high heating value and low pollution and is also convenient for storing and transporting. RDF pyrolysis can achieve harmless-refuse-treatment and minimization for waste. At the same time, it can also surmount pollution problem caused by MSW incineration. So it has brighter development prospects.This paper firstly made the RDF pyrolysis thermo-gravimetric experiments and kinetic parameters calculation, and analyzed the change of TG and DTG curve, and the changed of activation energy and pre-exponential factors under different affecting factors. Secondly the effect on RDF pyrolysis products and gas production chara cteristics had been studied with different final pyrolysis temperature, different material ratio, different additives (the sludge and the waste lime), add catalyst DHC-32 and different pyrolysis ways. The experiment instruments were high-temperature tube furnace and gas chromatographic analyzer. The conclusions were as follows: the productivity of pyrolysis gas and liquid increased by increasing the final pyrolysis temperature, the H2 volume percentage increases and the CO2 volume percentage decreases; the productivity of pyrolysis gas increased which mixed sludge; fast heating mode compared with slow heating mode, the productivity of pyrolysis gas increased 7.45%. Thirdly we made RDF pyrolysis products semi-coke gasification of thermo-gravimetric analysis and kinetic parameters calculation, drew the following conclusion: semi-coke gasification reactivity best when the heating rate is 20℃, fast heating mode was more conducive to increase semi-coke reactivity and so on. Finally we used Aspen Plus established RDF pyrolysis reaction model, predicted changing tendency of RDF pyrolysis products, compared with simulation and experiment values, and made sure that using Aspen Plus simulation for RDF pyrolysis is feasible.
