| In recent years, the economic of small towns develop rapidly in the west of Jilin province,people’s living standards significantly improved. The phenomenon of sewage wanton emissionsand serious environmental pollution has become the bottleneck in the development of localeconomy. In order to solve the problem of water resources pollution of small towns in westernJilin province, promote construction and development of small towns sewage treatment plant,solve the situation of the serious water shortage in western Jilin province. It is great significanceto select sewage treatment process suitable for sewage characteristics for small town.This article briefly describes the status and distribution of water resources in Jilin province,analyzed the present situation that small towns lack of water resources in western Jilin provinceand the necessity and feasibility of wastewater reuse. Combined with domestic and internationalsewage treatment technology development, described the traditional urban sewage treatmenttechnology detailly such as A/O process, A/A/O process, the oxidation ditch process, AB processand CASS process and new sewage treatment technology including AAATMprocess, UNITANKprocess, MSBR process, LINPOR process and BIOLAK process. It introduces the mainmechanism, technological process, main structure, the treatment effect and the respectiveadvantages and disadvantages. According to to development of small town and characteristics ofwastewater in our western country, combined with effluent water, infrastructure and operatingcosts as well as the process maturity, can concluded that:1From the perspective of effluent quality: The effluent effect of A/A/O process, CASSprocess, UNITANK process and MSBR process is better as well as the BOD, N, P removal rate.The effluent can satisfy the water reuse standard and small towns water shortage problems canbe resolved in western Jilin province.2From the technical perspective: The process and structure of A/O technology, A/A/Oprocess, the oxidation ditch technology, LINPOR technology and BIOLAK technology is simple,the maturity of which is high, the requests to the technical personnel is low, the management andmaintenance is simple, feasibility, suitable for small town sewage.3In terms of economy: The infrastructure construction costs of oxidation ditch process, ABprocess, BIOLAK process and AAATMprocess is less, the costs of operation and maintenance islower, which is suitable for the status of economic and social development of small towns inWestern Jlin province.4When the small towns lack water severely, we must consider the water reuse. We should choose the better effluent quality process to solve water shortage problems in the sewagetreatment, such as A/A/O process or CASS process. When the small towns wastewater treatmentplant renovation and expansion, we can consider LINPOR process or A/A/O process, It savesmanpower, material and financial resources. When small town has a natural ponds or depressions,BIOLAK process should be a priority.Finally, I designed the A/AO technology sewage treatment plant simulates which is themost widely used and the most mature technology at home and abroad. It mainly includes: grille,sewage lifting pump, grit chamber, the primary settling tank, A/A/O reaction tank, secondarysettling tank, contacting tank and other structures. It described the design parameters and thecalculation process of structures in details. And the structure diagrams is drawn in CAD. Thearticle points out that the unit of elevation layout of the wastewater treatment plant should bebased on the local terrain elevation and the head loss. It aims to provide a reference for thedesign of the sewage treatment process in small towns in western Jilin province, promoting theconstruction and development of the western small town sewage treatment plant. |
