Paper industry is closely related to the development of national economyand human civilization construction.It is an important basic materials industry.Its per capita consumption measures a country’s economic developmentlevel.When cardboard or paper is made from pulp by a series of processingprodcedure such as refining, add fill, glue, color mixing, purification, screeningand so on, it becomes paper in a paper machine.The link of refining is especiallyimportant in the processing prodcedure. And the development of pulpingequipment in our country still lag behind, so this paper mainly compared andresearched the high yield pulping equipment, Combined the advantages anddisadvantages on different kind of refiner structures, finally designed a kind ofnew high consistency refiner for papermaking.In the refining process, the influence of plup consistency on the quality ofrefining is very large. Along with the development of refining process, the pulpconsistency can be divided into low consistency, medium consistency and highconsistency refining. At last decided to choose high consistency. In accordancewith practical situation, and integrated with advantages and disadvantages of thedisc refiner and connical refiner, the final design had two sections in the refining.The structure of final design was three conical double flow refiner which issimilar to “double flow double plates mill”.Plate is the core component of the refiner, the design and choice of the barshape would directly affect the plup quality and the final paper quality. Thematerial of plate and bar shape will affect the beating degree and hang quantityof plup. Through development of structure parameters such as plate and barshape, the taper of plate, the plate gap and the like on high consistency refiner,the thesis analyzed the influences of these parameters on the refiningperformance.By introduction of new plate type and integrated design, this typecan improve the forces of refiner and refining intensity, reduce steam generationin the refining region, make steam better discharge, make pulp stay in therefining zone much longer and distribution, so as to improve the efficiency and quality of refining.This paper also discussed the fiber materials of the refining, had shown thatuse miscanthus as the fiber materials can show very good performances. Andalso analyzed the other factors which can affect the properties of refiningindividually, such as speed of the plate and flow of the steam,after thatdetermined the best speed and better method to discharge steam.Because the kind of initial pulp materials is so much, while refining processalso has many disturbance, these factors will all influence the stability of finalpulp’s quality.Therefore this paper carried out a detailed discussion and researchon the force of the plup and energy consumption in the refining zone, accordingto some famous mechanism hypothesis, such as Fibrage Theory, Specific EdgeLoad Theory, Specific Source Load Theory, Qualitative Mechanism Hypothesis,and established the dynamic model and energy consumption model through outthe refining process.Finally the thesis used the simulation technology to designthe high consistency refiner mfg and dynamic simulation by virtual.
