Research On The Iridescent Formation Mechanism Of Fabric With Heterochromatic Warp And Weft

Iridescent fabric with heterochromatic warp and weft is a kind of fabric which makesuse of warp and weft whose color contrast strongly to interwoven and bring different visualeffects from different angles. Based on the theoretical analysis of iridescent mechanismabout fabrics, this paper has designed and developed a series of iridescent fabric. Throughthe test and analysis of iridescent effect about fabrics, this paper researched the formationmechanism of it.This paper researched the formation mechanism of iridescent effect about fabrics fromcolor matching in color science, perspective in physiology and the color of light andobservation distance in physics. On the basis of this analysis, the paper chose120dtex×2dark green twisted (50twist/10cm) polyester for warp, and red untwisted nylon for weft,designed eight series of45kinds of fabrics.In order to test iridescent effect of fabrics, this paper produced a variable angle device,and you can see iridescent effect of different angles on the surface of the fabric, throughspinning the angle of platform placing cloth samples. And by experiment, the resultsshowed that the color of the fabric, which was observed with the fluorescent light in alaboratory outside, under the D65light and from30cm distancing fabric, was the closest tothe observations in a good light. While it solved the problem that the ordinary instrumentfor measuring color can not test different angle colorThrough the horizontal, vertical comparison of eight series iridescent effect aboutfabric with heterochromatic warp and weft, this paper studied the formation mechanism ofiridescent effect from the view of yarn linear density, fabric weaves, fabric count. On theyear-on-year conditions, when the fabric density was small, the fabric woven by the yarnwith large diameter proned to have iridescent effect, and when fabric density was large, the iridescent effect of fabric woven by the yarn with smaller diameter is significant. When thefabric density was small, the iridescent effect of twill weave fabric was better, and whenfabric density was large, the iridescent effect of plain weave fabric is significant. When thefabric warp density is the same, the iridescent effect of fabric at first increased and thenweakened, with a gradual increase in weft density,and when warp density increased, thewarp sheltered weft, iridescent effect of fabric was not obvious.Whether iridescent effect of fabric was good or not was related to the area ratio ofwarp and weft on the surface of fabric. When the area ratio of warp and weft on the surfaceof fabric was between0.8and1.5, iridescent effect of fabrics was better.
