Combustion process based on oxygen-enriched and mixing combustion is an effective method to utilize energy efficiently. The combustion characteristics of petroleum coke and soft coal are analyzed by experiment and numerical simulation. The influence of oxygen concentration, and petroleum coke and coal mass ratio of fuel on the combustion characteristics, the reaction mechanism, temperature distribution, emission characteristics. The characteristics of oxygen-poor combustion are also analyzed by numerical simulation.Towards TGA experimental study, TG-DTG curves of samples in combustion process were obtained. The results show that, when the kind of fuel and concentration of oxygen are the same, the smaller the heating rate is, the lower the burnout temperature is. When the kind of fuel and heating rate are the same, as the oxygen concentration increased, so did the flammable characteristics of the index and burn parameters. Under the same oxygen concentration, with the petroleum coke and coal mass ratio increases, the burn rate and the maximum burning rate both increase.According to a360t/day of glass furnace structure parameters and operating parameters to determine the physical model of the glass furnace. The simulation results are compared with actual data to prove the credibility of the simulation.Numerical study of oxygen-rich combustion of mixed fuel in the glass furnace are conducted. The results show that:with the increase of oxygen concentration, the flame diffusion combustion weakened, furnace maximum temperature and average temperature increases. As petroleum coke powder and pulverized coal quality ratio increase, the exit concentration of SO2increases linearly, the flame spread of combustion phenomenon is more obvious.Numerical simulation of air combustion of mixed fuel in the glass furnace are conducted. The results show that: with the decrease of oxygen concentration, the flame more pronounced diffusion combustion, the average temperature is slightly lower SO2concentration and the air condition is insignificant.The research results contribute to the glass furnace using petroleum coke powder to higher efficiency, lower emissions. And in accordance with the simulation and the experimental results of proposed implementation plan for the glass furnace save energy, reduce emissions, reduce costs and provide a reference.
