Since the corporeal civilization and science technology is highly developedtoday, people requirement to the product no longer stay in simple and practicalway, but hope to be satisfied in product form, color, material and other aspects.In this case, a variety of unique products continue to be developed, children’sproducts are corresponding to the rich, great to meet the needs of thedevelopment of young children.Here the child refers to3-6years old preschool children. This period is thekey period of the development of intelligence in children, is also the characterformation of the sensitive period. Furniture, as a companion for children’s growth"partner", certain effect on children’s ability development, and permeating in thesense of humor and playful, is in under the influence character by environmentmake the infant lively and happy growth. Children’s furniture design is differentfrom the adult furniture, children’s age and the infant ’s special status, decidedthe children’s furniture design and decoration should be based on children’sphysical and mental characteristics, and contributes to their growth anddevelopment.Through questionnaire investigation, network information and books relatedto the reading of children, housing area, children’s physical and mentalcharacteristics, hobbies and real demand undertook an analysis, summary, and onthis basis of the children’s physical and mental characteristics influence onfurniture design, summed up the children’s bedroom furniture design theory.From the current market are more popular children’s educational toys to extractrelevant puzzle elements, summed up the puzzle of children product designmethod. In the children’s bedroom furniture design theory system support,combined with early childhood intellectual development contents and methods,trying to put this puzzle elements and design method is applied to the children’sfurniture design, and finally through the design practice of theory system. The main topic for3-6aged children as research object, in the analysis ofthe physiological and psychological characteristics of children, based on thechildren’s bedroom furniture design, summed up the theoretical system, whichincludes a children’s furniture design principles, design elements and reasonabledesign methods, and on this theoretical system support, on children’s puzzlefurniture the study of some of his views and understanding, hope the new train ofthought, can give the relevant designers some reference and inspiration for theearly childhood development, and thus a more excellent furniture products, guidethe children healthy, happy growth.
