The hydraulic support is the support equipment for the mechanized coal face, is an integral part of the comprehensive mechanization of coal mining machinery and equipment. In the modern high-yield high-efficiency mines, The hydraulic support is to ensure that coal mines operating space and safe production. Its safety and reliability directly affect the application and promotion of mechanized coal mining technology. In order to ensure the reliability and security of the hydraulic support used in the underground complex conditions, Cost savings as well as the full realization of the value of the hydraulic support, do an analysis of fatigue life to be very necessary. However, traditional research is mainly concentrated in the stress analysis, rarely do a Further fatigue life analysis.First of all, This article do a plane stress analysis of the hydraulic support, obtained the force trends of each hinge point of the cover beam. Then, do a spatial analysis of the hydraulic support, obtained In a particular condition the force of each hinge point of the cover beam. This paper briefly analyzes the cover of hydraulic support beam model. Using UG the caving shield’s three-dimensional model is built and the caving shield’s finite element is set up. After the UG analysis and calculation, the caving shield’s stress and displacement distribution are obtained. Finally, on the basis of the above theoretical calculations and computer simulations, used UG Nastran.
