Emulsion pump system is a key large necessary equipment of the coal industry in the safety construction of high yield and high efficiency and in the realization of compound mining machinery automation. It provides emulsion to hydraulic support and all kinds of jack. So it is very important for the research of the emulion pump control system, at present the parallel pump station control system with multiple pumps has been already developed with programmable controller or single-chip computers. Because it has many problems, the frequency conversion technology is introduced into emulsion pump station control system.The industrial frequency and frequency conversion way of emulsion pump can automatically switch, energy conservation is good, which can solve the above problems.First the paper discussed the hydraulic support’s role and classification, hydraulic support’s motion processes and emulsion pump working principle and the related parameters, and analyzed the emulsion pump hydraulic system working principle. The paper analysed emulsion pump variable-frequency operation, including emulsion pump frequency constant pressure control principle and the characteristics of energy saving of pump station speed operation.Then the paper mainly analysised under the simulation the control algorithm of frequency constant pressure control system in the emulsion pump system, selected the hydraulic support rise early column supporting process of emulsion pump hydraulic systems as the research object, analysed the characteristicsof emulsion pump hydraulic system in the process, and builded the theory model of frequency constant pressure emulsion pump station control system.Then after the paper analysised the PID control rule of the simulation and designed fuzzy PID controller, analysised and compare the conventional PID control and fuzzy PID control in no considering the interference of the system, the dead zone of the motor and the uncertainty of the model parameters, only considering the interference of the system, only considering the dead zone of the motor, only considering the uncertainty of the model parameters under the simulation in the MATLAB/Simulink.The results of the analysis shows that no taking into account of the interference of the system, the dead zone of the motor and the uncertainty of the model parameters, the conventional PID control can obtain satisfactory control effect, but the fuzzy PID control’s overshoot is relatively smaller than the conventional PID control and setting time is shorter. Considering the interference of the system, besides the fuzzy PID control’s overshoot is relatively smaller and setting time is shorter, the curve of the conventional PID control appears larger fluctuation after absorbing step representation jamming signals and the fuzzy PID control for interfering signal adaptive ability is better. Considering the dead zone of the motor, besides the fuzzy PID control’overshoot is smaller than the conventional PID control, short setting time is shorter, the fuzzy PID control is affected less than the conventional PID control by the characteristics of the dead zone, the fuzzy PID control can inhibit the dead zone’s influence of the system more than the conventional PID control. Considering the uncertainty of system model parameters, the fuzzy PID control’s adaptability in small zone changes of model is stronger than the conventional PID control.Finally, the paper summarized the control system and maped the main circuit and control circuit diagram of the electrical control system for the realization of the fuzzy PID control to the frequency constant pressure control in emulsion pump station, and choosed the hardware of the control system and designed the software of the control system.
