With the utilization of petroleum increasing globaly,the oil refine scale and the oil production is increase endlessly,as an byproduct of oil refine process,the hydrogen sulfide is becoming more hazardous for us,and it also could threaten to catalyst which is widely used in chemical process.The decomposition of hydrogensulfide not only can clear hazard,but also can produce hydrogen gas.The hydrogen is most important energy source,which can broadly used in many fields,such as SpaceTechnology、 Chemical engineering etc.Considering of this,the decomposition of hydrogen sulfide is becoming most important research problem.The text describes the hydrogen production from hydrogen sulfide decomposition under the combination of dielectric barrier discharge plasma and zinc sulfide photocatalyst which was prepared by homogeneous precipitation method.,and reviewed the electric discharge parameter、photocatalyst particle size、hydrogen sulfide gas flow rate etc,which can influence the reaction;Pretreated the photocatalyst by nitrogen gas and hydrogen sulfide gas at different temperature,and also reviewed the effect of the doping of some transitional metal with the zinc sulfide.The results were analyzed by using different characterization method,such as XRD、Nitrogen Adsorption、UV-VIS、TEM、EDS etc.The results show that the combination of the plasma and zinc sulfide photocatalyst improved the conversion of hydrogen sulfide decomposition greatly compared to the reaction that under only plasma;The photocatalyst performed the best conversion when the catalyst particle size range from mesh:80tol mesh:100mong all size scale.;The conversion of hydrogen sulfide decomposition was up to98%when the concentration of hydrogen sulfide was10%and the input voltage was60V,The improvement of the performance of zinc sulfide which was pretreated at500℃by hydrogen sulfide can be attributed to the effect of crystal mixture;The catalytic activity of zinc sulfide was improved greatly when the Iron、Cobalt、 Cadmuam was doped with zinc sulfide by the concentration of1%..
