The responsive polymers have been a hot topic in the field of functional polymer materials. In recentyears, with the increasing of the demanding of functional polymer by people, the responsive polymers withsimple structures have not contented with the demanding. In order to change this condition, the functionalpolymers with different structures are needed to be synthesized.In this paper, firstly the modified MPEO have been carried out through a series of synthetic methods,then, using the modified MPEO as the preursor, the thermo-responsive brush polymers and “tadpole”polymers were obtained. The mainly work we have done as follows:(1) Synthsis of the brush polymers with temperture responsive: Firstly through a series of syntheticmethods, the macroinitiators (PEO-Br) for atom transfer radical polymerization were obtanined, secondlythe diblock copolymers(PEO-b-PNIPAM)were prepared via atom transfer radical polymerization, finallythe brush polymers were obtained by “click” reaction between the alkyne groups on PEO-b-PNIPAM andthe azide groups on PBAMO. The1NMR, IR and GPC were used to confirm the structure of the polymers.(2)Synthsis of the “tadpole” polymers: First of all, using the atom transfer radical polymerization, thelinear block polymers(l-PEO-b-PNIPAM-b-PS) were synthesized by the modification copolymers(PEO-b-PNIPAM)as the initiator, and then the linear block polymers(l-PEO-b-PNIPAM-b-PS) werefunctionalized with NaN3in organic solvent DMF, at last using “click” reaction, the “tadpole” polymerswere synthesized. The1NMR and IR were used to confirm the structure of the polymers.The brush polymers and “tadpole” polymers with temperture responsive obtained in this paper will bewidely used in the many areas, such as the immobilization of enzymes, the separation of materials.
