In this paper molecularly imprinted polymers were prepared by Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization using as adsorbent of solid phase extraction for selected separation and enrichment phthalates in edible oil. The adsorption properties were studied by comparing with the commercial solid phase extraction. The main contents is as following:Butylphthalateimprinted polymerswere synthesized by using butyl phthalate as the template molecule, methyl methacrylate as monomers, cuprous chloride /2-2′bipyridyl as catalyst, 1- chlorine-1- ethyl benzene as initiator, cyclohexanone as solvent via atom transferradical polymerization.Experiments were conductedon the option reactiontemperature, themolarratio ofthe template moleculeand monomer, the molar ratio of monomer, catalyst and initiator, and thenselectedby orthogonaloptimalpolymerization conditions. Under the optimumconditions, the reactiontemperature was85℃,the ratio ofmonomer of methyl methacrylate and cuprous chloride catalyst was 200:1,the amount of methyl methacrylate was 10.5ml, the amount of butyl benzyl phthalate was 0.6ml, imprinted polymers and non-imprinted polymers were synthesized. The adsorption capacity was analysis by usingGC-MS.It found that adsorption capacity of molecularly imprinted polymers to butyl phthalate was5.37mg·g-1, and adsorption capacity of the non-imprinted polymers to butyl phthalate was 3.68mg·g-1. The resultsshowed the adsorption of molecularly imprinted polymerswas better than non-imprinted polymers.Dibutylphthalateimprinted polymerswere synthesized by usingdibutyl phthalate as the template molecule, methyl methacrylate as monomers, cuprous chloride /2-2′bipyridyl as catalyst, 1- chlorine-1- ethyl benzene as initiator, cyclohexanone as solvent via atom transferradical polymerization.Experiments were conductedon the reactiontemperature, the amount of template molecular, the molar ratio of monomer、catalyst and initiator, and thenselectedby orthogonaloptimalpolymerization conditions. The resultsshowed that the optimum conditions was the reactiontemperature was85 ℃,the ratio ofmonomers methyl methacrylate and cuprous chloride catalyst was 200:1,the amount of template molecule dibutyl phthalatewas 0.4ml.It found that adsorption capacity of molecularly imprinted polymers to dibutyl phthalate was5.26 ug·mg-1, and the non-imprinted polymers was 3.52 μg·mg-1. The result instructions the adsorption of molecularly imprinted polymers is better than non-imprinted polymers. An analytical method was established. It turned out to be that the minimum detection limit was 1μg mL-1~150μg mL-1 and the linear range was 0.029~0.041ugmL-1. The level standard addition recovery rate of 1μg mL-1, 5μg mL-1 and 10μg mL-1 were the main scope by tested, and the recovery of oil samples were 95.4%,101.2%,98.1%. The range of relative standard deviation was 3.67%、3. 78%、4.10% after analysis for six times, respectively.
