Virtual Reality Technology In Large Coal Mine Safety Application

It is well know, Coal mine environment is a complex time-varying environment, in which various factors such as human, environment and the machine and other factors, interact with each other, and various information demonstrated a heterogeneous, unstructured, and multi-sourced. Furthermore the down hole underground environment is half closet space. So many traditional technologies can not be applied. The development of Virtual Reality (VR) technology brings a new method and train of thought to go further into understanding and research on coal mine safety producing environment. At present, VR technology in coal mine safety research and research in the field of application are at the initial stage, there still is lack of systematic research to model and describe methods which is about coal mine underground environment.In this paper, according to the coal mine safety in production the actual needs, with the aid of VR technology to the modeling of coal mine environment, a systematic study of coal mine virtual environment and virtual human modeling method. Intelligence technology is integrated into virtual environment to investigate Mine Intelligent Virtual Environment demand, explore effective protection of coal mine safety production the new way. The main content of this paper and innovations has the following several points:Firstly, based on the inadequate in the traditional VR system, We studied virtual intelligent miner modeling who possesses abroad abilities, such as perception, behavior, movement, internal attributions and cognition abilities, and so on. And some intelligent behaviors of the virtual miners including the path planning, visual perception and underground autonomous roaming also were studied. Thereby, enhancing the intelligent of coal mine virtual environment, increase of environment and the interaction of virtual human and friendly. Secondly, build mine synthetic natural environment methods machines have set up concept model, and the underground environment database was established. Finally, the coal mine gas explosion accident of virtual reality simulation and study of particle simulation technology, these technologies can be effectively performed mine synthetic natural environment, and according to the model for further studies on how to effectively control coal mine disaster.Figure15table1reference52...
