For the fundamental solution to the tailings operation and closed in the process of library produce variety problems and improve the essence of the tailings safety degree, reduce the incoming concentration pulp is a feasible scheme. This paper defined the paste paste tailing and tailings for filter press filter cake of tailing after a combination of the two, this concept is compared with the traditional way of the tailings discharge.A gold in hunan province mine tailings disposal engineering for example, adopts laboratory test and theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and engineering design combination of research methods to the tailings paste the surface treatment of the system. In this paper the main work accomplished and achievements are as follows:(1) Defining tailings of dry technology definition, tailings paste accumulation and tailings dry accumulation of two schemes of the process, main characteristics, limiting factors and the applicable condition, and the main dewatering equipment and process, the detailed analysis and discussion.(2)Accroding to the tailings through the soil test, and indoor dynamic test and so on a series of test, the tailings the physical and mechanical properties of tailings particle composition and won the dynamics characteristics parameters;(3)Take a gold mine in hunan province of the original upstream type tailings for object, using limit equilibrium method to simplify the tailings dam of of the effect on the stability of factors for analysis, that shear strength and infiltration of the line on the stability of the larger conclusion. Because of the dry pressure filtration of the tailings backfilling materials after the DAMS, in the shear strength and lower infiltration in line upstream of the tailings than traditional type more superior, that is better stability.(4)By the use of the FLAC numerical simulation software, the design scheme in the simulation, it is concluded that the tailing dam dry pile of horizontal displacement of cloud images and principal stress cloud, and by using strength reduction calculated its stability. The results show that the design scheme of the safety coefficient is2.42, high stability. And in the original design, on the basis of FLAC software in by changing the accumulation of different slope and height, analyzed their dry pile of tailings dam safety of influence.(5) design the scheme of dry tailing deposition of a mine in hunan province, including site selection, accumulation process, flood control safety management and related flyash measures, etc. Similar to the tailings dry pile of engineering and power plant ash library design and safety management some guidance.
