While China’s steel industry rolling equipment of continuous improvement and development, rolling technology are rapidly improving. Rolling process from the original standard rolling into normalizing rolling, hot rolling. Wire rod rolling from the original two slitting rolling for the progressive development of three slitting rolling, four slitting rolling. Steel production equipment in the continuous development, the original production tools impedes the advanced equipment performance. In high speed wire rod and bar wire rolling mill, roll changing frequency increased, not only influence the production efficiency, but also increase the labor intensity of the workers. Especially the temperature controlled rolling process, must request the excellent quality of the roller tool. Visible, hard alloy roll instead of cast iron rolls, used in steel rolling is inevitable.Hard alloy roll in high speed wire rod mill of successful application will greatly promote the other roller for rolling mill transformation and development, its main focus on the cemented carbide composite roll for the development and application of. Thus,in bar rolling, the technological factors and the roll structure differs from that of wire rod rolling, thus cemented carbide roll in bar rolling application also needs further research and exploration. Due to the low impact toughness of cemented carbide, low coefficient of thermal expansion, thermal conductivity and electrical conductivity of iron and its alloy close, price is higher, the existence of adverse factors, therefore, reduce these unfavorable factors, embodiment of cemented carbide rolls advantage, become produce excellent tool key.In this paper mainly to do what the content of the study:(1) The analysis of rolling mill rolling process, determine the roller rolling condition; roll in rolling, at a high temperature by the periodic rolling force, and by the rolling surface condition, cooling condition fluctuation, under impact load.Development2-4hard alloy grade for thread steel and hard alloy bar rolling(3) According to the characteristics of the hard alloy roller and the working principle and working condition, design to meet the requirements of carbide composite roll. Including the selection of developed composite materials, using suitable composite technology, the cemented carbide roll rings, steel core, the baffle compound for complete interface connection, composite high strength of the whole roll, used in bar, screw steel rolling.(4) The completion of composite hard alloy roll production, and on-site industrial tests, summary of test results.
