Xinglongzhuang Coal Mine is an important coal-mining area in Shandong province. Thescale of the coal mining brings a large area of ground subsidence. Fully rational use of waterresources in the subsided water storage areas becomes one of the effective ways to solve theincreasing demand for water of mine production and life. Therefore, correctly understanding,truly mastering the evolution trend of water quality and finding out the water pollutionsources are very important in the subsidence area.In order to provide the basis for comprehensive utilization of water resource inXinglongzhuang coal-mining subsidence area (They are named as areas1,2,3,4,5,6respectively, and area3is divided into two parts named as water area3-1and3-2.), waterquality in water storage areas are monitored, water quantity forecast is studied. Besides, fuzzycomprehensive evaluation is used to appraise the water quality of water storage areas andgroundwater, the evolution trend of water quality is explored, and water pollution sources aresearched for. The results showed as follow:1. The total water storage capacity is up to2057.8×10~4m~3.2. The annual precipitation and the distribution of the year are not uniform inXinglongzhuang Coal-mining subsidence area. The withered water season appear alternately.Groundwater dynamic type belongs to infiltration-runoff-mining, presenting cyclical changewith the change of the season and quantity of precipitation. The change rule with the year isdivided into "decline-rise-down" three stages, direction of groundwater flow is northeast tosouthwest. Precipitation and underground water level are close relationship, the change ofquantity of precipitation and annual amplitude of groundwater level the change processconsistent trend, having a lag. The linear relationship of precipitation and delayed a month ofground water level is good.3. Water quality conditions in subsidence area are as follows:(1) The water quality in subsided water storage area3-1is the best, for Grade Ⅲ, whilethe others are all contaminated with various degrees. Area1and2with Liao River flowingthrough and area3-2with fishery breeding, are all polluted serious, for gradeⅤ. According toEnvironmental quality standards for surface water, F-is sub-standard serious, heavy metalsexcept Cd are not caused pollution to the six water storage areas.(2) With the groundwater measurements by2007~2010, the salinization trend ispresented in Xiao Xue Town. The water quality in groundwater monitoring stations is good,for Grade Ⅲ and above, expect Xiao Xue Town in2010, for Grade Ⅴ. 4. The sources of heavy metal pollutions are analyzed by the focus on in subsidence area.Took Cd for example, combined with the surrounding environment, water, sediment andnear-shore soil samples were carried through Trinitarian Evaluation Analysis. It is found thatCd pollution mainly comes from the mining coal gangue pollution and Liao River surfacerunoff pollution. Meanwhile, SPSS software was used to seek the correlation among Cd, Cu,Pb, Cr, and Zn. The Correlation coefficients are0.963,0.861,0.935,0.816respectively,indicating that these heavy metals correlate significantly, showing that they overwhelminglylikely have the same pollution source.5. In order to reach the suitability in subsidence areas, this paper studies from thecombined water and comprehensive utilization angle embarking. The main goal of combinedwater is to develop subsidence areas into water supply of plain water lake with the mainfunction of water storage and water supply. According to the fuzzy comprehensive evaluationresults, combined with the surrounding environment, the main goal of comprehensiveutilization is to study every water subsidence area.According to the characteristics of water quality in Xinglongzhuang coal-miningsubsidence area, giving some advice and measures about restorement, comprehensiveutilization and environmental protection of the subsided water storage areas, an example forother mining areas is set. Comprehensively use of the water resources, reducing pollution andobtaining huge social, economical and environmental benefits, sustainable develop in miningarea is made.
