Cucurbituril has special recognition and assembling property due to its rigid dewatering cavity and abundant oxygen atoms in the port. Cucurbituril has wide application in fields of catalysis, medicine and molecular device.First, in this paper the fluence of the acid concentration and templates on the consist of cucurbituril synthesis had been discussed by means of DSC. It’s confirmed that the product based about cucurbit[6]uril can be generated by KCl as the template. It’s verified that the assembling selectivity of cucurbit[6]uril and1-MCP by means of GC-MS.Second, white solid hemicucubit[6]uril can be generated by2-imidazolidone and formaldehyde in the situation of2mol·L-1acid and80℃after8hours. Meanwhile the fluence of acid concentration and templates on the synthesis of hemicucurbit[6]uril is discussed. The productivity and the reaction rate of hemicucurbit[6]uril synthesis can be promoted when NaCl,KCl,ZnCl2,FeCl2as templates added.The structure of hemicucurbit[6]uril is characterized by IR,1H NMR,13C NMR, MS and XRD.X-ray diffraction results that hemicucurbit[6]uril belongs to triclinic system with P-1space group symmetry.The crystallographic parameters were as follows: a=8.8640(14)(nm), b=8.9406(15)(nm), c=11.4393(18)(nm), α=101.136(6)(°)、β=108.896(13)(°),γ=97.109(18)(°), V=824.4(2)(nm3), R=0.0359, Mr=714.76. The formula is C24H50N,2O13.The hemicucurbit[6]uril is analyzed in thermo stability by means of DSC. The result shows that the melting range is from340to372℃and the decomposition temperature is386℃.
